Shocking....I have been supporting them for over 5 years. Both my vehicles for petrol and support the shop and the take aways on a regular basis. Today again filled my car and supported the shop and Tipping all staff that helped me. I ask for my windows to be cleaned which he did, front and back, and I GOT OUT to clean my side windows so I could see my side mirrors better, this while I am paying my petrol and tipping the assistant. I different assistant come to me and said I am not allowed to clean the side windows by hand. Surprised I smilled and said ok, sorry. Ps...I did not mentioned on a previously occasion the attendant did it for me, because did not want to make a issue of it...But this is where the the problem started. The manager or owner, the one always sitting in the back office was standing there. I always great him politely when I see him, not as his friend or expecting anything from him, just a polite hello as a CUSTOMER. I walked to him as he was standing just behind my car and I said sorry about that, (because I did not know it is not allowed, as mentioned above, it was done previously)because he was clearly looking at this " major issue". His reply, not it is ok, no problem but rather a rude, hands in his pockets and power trip stare... We do only front and back windows, we don't allow side windows. I replied again, sorry about that I did tip your assistant for that, and I am sure you have seen me here on numerous occasions as a loyal customer, again expecting just a plain...it is ok, but noooooo, his cold reply, we don't allowed that and that is a waist of water..Dude.. I understand where you coming from, if everybody just do what they want, but really, use a bit of common sence and decency when speaking to your costumers and addressing an "issue". Not as a criminal committing this hudge crime..Again sorry about the 20c of water used to clean my side windows with the window cleaner. I know my couple of thousand rands a month not being spend will not hurt you, but hopefully you will learn, friendliness, common courtesy and decency COST NOTHING and will make you enjoy life more and make you a better person. Just my 20c of advice for Free to use or not..
