NB DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could give less than one star I would. I detailed my Porsche Boxter at Lux Auto Detailing. On collecting the vehicle it was parked outside and was full of dust. No hand over or checklist used or run over everything he had done. In hind sight I can now see why he left the car outside to get dirty, (another reflection of his work standard), this was to help hide all the imperfections in the PPF no doubt. Therefore I could not see any of the obvious blemishes. His workshop is dirty dusty and completely disorganized. I was promised the work would be completed in two weeks. It ended up taking just over four weeks. When collecting the vehicle I was obviously disappoined. Additionally when asking Lawence if he had completed the suspension, exhaust and engine wash he had not. He also did not provide me with the care package as promised. He apologised and said he would come to me to finish the vehicle. After which I left as we had plans to drive the vehicle that day. He said the ceramic coating needed to cure so I should not wash it for 3weeks. Which I did not. And I left it in the sun to cure for a few days. Eventually I sprayed the car with water and did a contactless blow dry. Which then revealed the following: Numerous specs of dirt below the PPF on the bonnet and side sills A trapped hair on the front top window sill Trapped polyester type fluff below the ppf on the bonnet The PPF lifting on the front of the bonnet and mirrors White staining or residue from tape along the window rubbers and front badge During washing it was noted that the beading on the body of the car is different the beading on the PPF which brings doubt as to whether the PPF was ceramic coated after its application. Scratches in the paint where he had removed the rear badge. After I complained and escalated the issue with CarPro he asked me to bring the car back. He removed the PPF but could not replace it with car pro products and used a cheaper alternative. His communication was exceptionally bad. He did not keep me in the loop. He did not send progress pictures. He did not show proof that he had applied certain products. He also promised to come do the first wash for the car which ended up being an impossible ordeal thanks to his complete lack of communication and putting other clients first.
