Red's Car Wash

Owners Beverly and Sebastian are so friendly and welcoming. They all get involved with the car wash and your car is done in no time. If you're lucky, you'll meet little Jordan who just loves interacting with the customers, he's such a treat! I was skeptical at first, but it was lovely to be able to experience a bit of the vibe of Bo Kaap and have views of some of the colourful houses at the same time.

Friendly staff, and they fast. I was one of the last cars of the evening and the guys gave my kwid often abused by my homesteading self as a bakkie a good clean, getting rid of most of the mud and dust.

5 stars – Absolutely Outstanding Service! I brought my car to Red’s Car Wash in Bo-Kaap yesterday, and I honestly can’t praise these guys enough. As a dog walker, my car was absolutely covered in dog hair—and to make matters worse, one of my client’s dogs had an accident in the back. It was a full-on crime scene. Most places flat-out refused to take the job, but Red’s didn’t blink an eye. They tackled the mess with professionalism and care. When I picked up my car, I was blown away—not a single dog hair left, no smell, no trace of what had happened. It looked and smelled better than new. I’ve been to a lot of car washes over the years, but this was by far the best service I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place that goes above and beyond, no matter the condition of your car—go to Red’s. Absolute legends.
