I was told by staff that tyres are not covered by insurance after 5 years and must be replaced. This was not mentioned once — it was brought up repeatedly while I was there, even though I came in for something else. I was told I needed to replace my tyres based on this. I have since confirmed that this is not a general rule. Tyre condition — not just age — is what determines roadworthiness and cover. This is not acceptable. I went to a "specialist" for accurate advice and was given information that was not correct, along with repeated pressure to spend money. Customers should verify any such claims before agreeing to replace tyres.
