Good range of ready to heat up meals, or buy a whole, already roasted chicken. Great choice of fresh veg, fruit & made salads. Their clothes are awesome and some homeware items available too. Shopping is a pleasure here & staff are very friendly & efficient. Open during load shedding.

Always loved Woolies for their quality products. I was bummed not to see my favorite hand sanitizer (ginger) there, but I don't think they stock a lot of sanitizer still. The staff were friendly and did look in the back, unfortunately to no avail.

Things to Note
I’ve been in George for just over 6 months, and this is by far the worst stocked Woolworths Food I’ve come across. The shelves are always empty, especially when there is some kind of special, and Im not going at the end of the day, which tells me it’s poor planning and preparation. I can also almost never find anything Im looking for, so again not stocked properly. Like today, had no milk?? Such a disappointment going to this store and George doesn’t have a whole lot of options. We need a proper Woolworths Food here.
